Is Happiness outside of me?

Individual therapy is one of the most courageous acts in life. We all seek happiness to feel content and worry free. Yet as we look outside ourselves, we may have things, we may have love, we may have a good job and still feel anxious, depressed or discontent in life. Or some may not have a things or a healthy relationship or a unfulfilled job, and feel anxious, depressed and discontent in life. In reality, the circumstances are irrelevant when dealing with the inner dialogue that lives within.

There will always be time when life situations will throw us off course. Philosophically, we hear and know that our challenges and obstacles are the keys to growth and as we learn from our mistakes, the hardship can transform into wisdom. During these times, it is critical in how challenges are won over, or negative thoughts such as doubts, distrust, inner critics, ect.. will accompany our inner world.

Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to face your inner world to hear and respond to inner programming and unconscious negative beliefs that creates emotional distress. Anxiety, depression, identify crisis (caused by divorce or death of a loved one), guilt and shame are only a few emotional expressions that cause turmoil and chaos.

Authentic Self

As we discover our inner complex world and learn the intelligence of our emotions, authentic and genuine self can become the front runner within life. As Carl G Jung once said: “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” Through exploring the layers of emotional pain causing the inability to see in the darkness, the sun rays of your inner truth can be revealed as you become aware of the way in which you have hidden from yourself.
